TODD BENTLEY FALSE FLORIDA REVIVAL PART 3

I GET NO BUZZ OUT OF PUTTING UP POSTS LIKE THIS.

BUT AS YOUR BROTHER AND ONE WHO WISHES SIMPLY TO STAND ON THE WALL AND BE A WATCHMAN I GIVE YOU THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AMONG THOSE WHO REMAIN UNCONVINCED ABOUT TODD BENTLEY AND THE "REVIVAL."

GOD DOES NOTHING OUTSIDE OF HIS WORD. CHRISTIANS NEED TO BE IMMERSED IN THE WORD SO AS TO BE AWARE AND PREPARED TO STAND AGAINST THE DECEPTIONS OF THE LAST DAYS.

DECEPTION/APOSTASY IS THE ONE END TIME EVENT JESUS AND THE APOSTLES SPOKE ABOUT 4 TIMES MORE THAN ANY OTHER END TIMES SIGN.

BUT THE CHURCH AT LARGE REFUSES TO LISTEN OR TO LIVE A HOLY SEPARATED LIFE BEFORE THE LORD.
WE THINK "YA SHALL BE HOLY" MEANS GOD MAKES US HOLY IN SPITE OF OUR LIFE STYLE.

WRONG! BE YE HOLY IS A COMMAND. BE YE SEPARATE, DIFFERENT, OTHER THAN THE REST OF THE WORLD.

ANYWAY I'LL STEP OFF THE SAOP BOX.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE. IT IS VERY TELLING.
THERE IS ALSO A VIDEO LINK:

"ANGELS" & the FLORIDA HEALING REVIVAL - Warning!-
by Andrew Strom.

I continue to get emails about last week's article - "A FALSEHEALING REVIVAL?" Some people strongly agree, while othersare totally outraged that I would question the healings or othermanifestations that are occurring.

Personally I am deeply saddened that I even have to put out thesewarnings. I get no pleasure out of it. In fact I hate having to talkabout this stuff.

But what happens if something is seriously amiss and yet no warnings are given? Is it right to be silent in such a case? What about the precious sheep? Shouldn't they be warned?

What a lot of people may not realize is that the leader of the revival Todd Bentley has a long history in the "Laughing/ Drunkenness"movement - but also is a leading proponent of strange "Angel"encounters (and I do mean 'strange'). Todd has openly promotedthese encounters for years - in fact he is well-known for leading others into contact with these 'angels' too. This has been a big part of his ministry for a very long time. And it is really no different now.

Here are a couple of extracts from Todd's 2003 article 'Angelic Hosts':

"So when I need a financial breakthrough I don't just pray and ask God for my financial breakthrough. I go into intercession and become a partner with the angels by petitioning the Father for the angels that are assigned to getting me money: "Father, give me the angels in heaven right now that are assigned to get me money and wealth. And let those angels be released on my behalf. Let them go into the four corners of the earth and gather me money."

Todd continues..."EMMA, ANGEL Of The PROPHETICNow let me talk about an angelic experience with Emma. Twice Bob Jones asked me about this angel that was in Kansas City in 1980: "Todd, have you ever seen the angel by the name of Emma?" He asked me as if he expected that this angel was appearing to me. Surprised, I said, "Bob, who is Emma?" He told me that Emma was the angel that helped birth and start the whole prophetic movement in Kansas City in the 1980s.

She was a mothering-type angel that helped nurture the prophetic as it broke out. Within a few weeks of Bob asking me about Emma, I was in a service in Beulah, North Dakota. "In the middle of the service I was in conversation with Ivan and another person when in walks Emma.

As I stared at the angel with open eyes, the Lord said, "Here's Emma." I'm not kidding. She floated a couple of inches off the floor. It was almost like Kathryn Khulman in those old videos when she wore a white dressand looked like she was gliding across the platform. Emma appeared beautiful and young - about 22 years old - but she was old at the same time. She seemed to carry the wisdom, virtue and grace of Proverbs 31 on her life. She glided into the room, emitting brilliant light and colors.

Emma carried these bags and began pulling gold out of them. Then, as she walked up and down the aisles of thechurch, she began putting gold dust on people... Within three weeks of that visitation, the church had given me the biggest offering I had ever received to that point in my ministry. Thousands of dollars! Thousands!...

During this visitation the pastor's wife (it was an AOG church) got totally whacked by the Holy Ghost - she began running around barking like a dog or squawking like a chicken as a powerful prophetic spirit came on her.

Also, as this prophetic anointing came on her, she started getting phone numbers ofcomplete strangers and calling them up on the telephone and prophesying over them...

Then angels started showing up in the church." [END QUOTE]

More recently, Todd stated that in one of his "Third Heaven" trips he literally visited the small cabin where the apostle Paul lives in Heaven. Paul told him that he wrote the book of Hebrews with the personal help of Abraham the Patriarch: “The authorship isn’t clear because it was Abraham and I; Abraham shared the content with me.”

Todd's 'Third Heaven' tales are full of such astonishing claims - and of course, more angels. (See 'A Face To Face Encounter - Part 2 of 2' - By Todd Bentley). Lest anyone think that Todd may have changed his ways in recent times, you should know that he is constantly mentioning his'angels' in the current Florida meetings also.

For instance, watch from about the 6-minute mark of the following video clip-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9mSCHJfnGEIn this video, Todd speaks of the angel that is going to "visit the children" and then he begins more and more to jerk and laugh uncontrollably.

He prays that a 'drunken glory' will move across the whole place - and you can see it happen in the audience.
This is all the same kind of stuff that Todd has been involved infor years.
There is nothing new in it. In fact, both Todd and Bob Jones credit an angel that carries the "Winds of Change" for the current healing revival - an angel that they say is still driving it.

As one young preacher commented who has been following the Florida meetings closely, Todd seems to talk about his "healing angel" even more than he talks about Jesus.

Yes - exactly!

We are warned explicitly in Scripture that the devil "transformshimself into an angel of light", and that in the Last Days will come'Lying signs and wonders' that will "deceive if possible the veryelect."

Do we really believe that the devil is unable to perform miracles?

Have we forgotten what the Bible clearly says? Some make the point that Todd obviously had a strong healing gift right from the start of his ministry - so some of the healingsin Florida may be genuinely from God. Yes - I agree that this ispossible - even likely.

But how can we trust anything at all coming from this source if it has become so tainted with all this pollution? Do we want such a man laying hands on us and imparting "anointings" or spirits into us?

I read a report from the UK yesterday that an English preacher has brought Todd's anointing back from Florida and now it is manifesting in his UK meetings: "Fire, a burning sensation, was felt all over people’s bodies... There were outbursts of joy, drunkenness and spontaneous healings throughout the meeting."

Other reports from the USA now speak of pastors having hands layed on them to receive the "Florida anointing".

The Elijah List claims that on New Year's Eve, for 2008, God told Bob Jones that "the third wave was coming." Todd asked Bob what the third wave was. He said that, "Toronto was wave #1, Pensacola was wave #2, and the third wave is the "Winds ofChange" -- this move of God.

This move will be a global move, traveling with signs and wonders all over the world! The third wave is here!" The Florida meetings have now moved into an 8000-seatauditorium. This "anointing" is spreading across the globe.

Can you see why I have cause for alarm, my friends?URGENT - Please FORWARD THIS TO OTHERS.Send feedback to- prophetic@revivalschool.com

God bless you all.Andrew Strom.

yet in London Kensington Temple, William Lee from Blackpool ministering there 700 desisions and hundreads every evening, the only time it is not open is Mondays, and he has cancelled the rest of the year, also the office of Elim are very concerned about it, as to Todds staements that he went to a cabin in heaven and the apostle Paul told him that he got Abraham to help him write the Letter to the Hebrews no one knows for sure who the author is and Hebrews 2:1 rules Paul out as he received from the Lord and not by what he heard and it is more likekly Barnabas but God knows. and that an angel Emma gives him lots of money this cant be right.blessings the Katman

Actually Katman there's another point to this story about Paul.

If Todd is telling the truth then Paul had help from a dead person to write the book of Hebrews.
That's an occultic action known as automatic writing in Spiritist circles.
So it os obvious this cannot be true. God strictly forbids contact with the dead.
Lev 19:31 You shall not turn to mediums, and you shall not seek to spirit-knowers to be defiled by them; I am Jehovah your God.

As a Jewish Rabbi Paul would have been keenly aware of this and avoided it like the plague.
Todd also says God told him to have the tatoos put on his body. Another violation of scripture!
Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:28
God does not disobey His own commands. Todd Bentley is in effect saying yes He does. So who do we believe? God or Todd Bentley?

Acts 17 v 11 says it all, we all need to search the scriptures daily to see if these things are true,if what is said does not stand up to the word of GOD than we are to reject it, sadly alot of christians do not study the word of GOD, and are led astray by false prophets and lying signs and wonders. blessings,

One has to ask the basic question, how can truely born again believers belief in all this utter rubish but yet the word says that God would send them a lie that they would even believe it, more is written about apostacy in the last days and would be a sign of the great falling away from the truth, unfortunately many have got caught up in it, its all the signs and wonders they are after and the Lord Jesus calls them an adulterers people, and those who promote it will be severely judged, of course they can repent, big question's and we do have the right to judge as the word say's to do so, we are not judging the people but testing all the thing's as it clearly say's in the last days there will be doctrines of demons and this is it blessings katman

If some one gave you two twenty pound notes and they seemed ok, than a friend said one of them is a fake, you would want to know how they knew that, some times we need to dig deep into the word to test things even when we see signs and wonders, and every one wants to see people heald , but in the scriptures when the Holy spirit came they did not bark like dogs they spoke in other toungs and after that peter preached and three thousand got saved, every time they preached the word, we look to much for miracals when the bigest miracle of all is the new birth, to be saved from hell fire , we need more preaching of GODS Holy word than signs and healings will follow, keep telling the truth ,He is the truth,Jesus, the way, the truth, the life,we dont want the fake one, you cant spend it, we want the real one,

blessings.

Don't under estimate the backlash that is taking place in the Church today against excercising spiritual discernment, the scorn that will be poured upon you when you use this gift and speak out against these things.

Touch not Gods annointed, backbiting, slander, religious spirit, bulldog spirit (oh yes!), jezebel spirit, dried up, dead, bibliolator, spirit less, pharisee.. etc etc..

All these and more will be thrown at you when you try to speak up, and I believe this wears many down, after all who wants to be thought of as being these things by a fellow brother or sister in Christ?

And I think this causes many not to speak up from fear, and need to be accepted.

So I would guess there are far more concerned about these things than we see, they just don't want to say.

This is encouraged from the pulpits too, and by these *prophetic* ministers, and I believe they will answer for this one day.

It is very sad, and I feel for all involved, wether decieved by these things, or worn down and weary from trying to stand against them.

We must take heart in Jesus!

So it has come down to the fact that we have to accept everything we are told and to remain silent, but who said they are prophets, its to easy to put a title on one self today and say they are annoited, possibly for a lot of bull, and what did The lord Jesus say that in that day many will say to him did we not prophecy in they mane and cast out demons and the lord Jesus , will say to them I depart from me I do not know you, this can only refer to so called believer's who think they are saved, even so works cant save as this also clearly show's the katman

How do you know for sure that this is a false revival and it is not genuine, and who set you up to decide what is right and that which is wrong, could this not be hurting the body of The lord, with such backbitting, instead should we not be praying for Todd Bentley, instead we are actually calling him a messenger of satan, by declareing its falsehood

'Real revival is about repentance and brokenness and humility and people on their face weeping for their worldliness. It's NOT about laughing or falling down or feathers or gold dust or talking to angels. It's NOT about performance or impressing people or emotional appeals. It's about FEAR OF THE LORD and His JUSTICE, not one-sided promises of blessing because God just wants to love on you.'

I have for many years studied and practiced the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science church, and find the healings claimed to happen in the Florida Revival meetings a very interesting phenomena. Christian Science has challenged mainline Christianity to explain why the miracles of olden time are not widely practiced today by Christians, especially when Jesus said that his followers (and he was of course speaking to his disciples at that time) that they would do greater miracles than he has done, because he was going to his Father. I suspect the healings taking place at these meetings are being used by God to highlight the continued lack of proof that Jesus demanded of his followers, proof that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand...is here right on Earth, right now! I would not personally doubt that many people feel they have been healed in some way and Glory be to God for that! But as Mary Baker Eddy points out in her primary work "Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures", it is more likely to be the working of the human mind than the Divine Mind (God) that is producing such healing effect. There is a favourite passage in scripture that I think sums up how God heals; "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32)

Dear Friends
It is with great delight to see someone, "Not Afraid" to tell it,like it is.

This so called revival in itself is unscriptural, the scriptures talk about "A great falling away" those who are expecting a revival, as in mass multitudes running to the nearest Church Building, are those who are looking for the "next new thing" and in scripture we are told, "There is nothing new, under the sun" thow people will missquote scripture, and use such scriptures which are in Isaiah when God says; He will do a new thing.

People really need to start and look at the Bible, and not the so called imposters such as Todd Bentley, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Copeland, Hagen, J John, and many many more.

We should be getting on with the job in hand, and as a retired Youth Pastor, now consigned to, due to ill health, putting out good solid teachings from well known, and respected sources, we can not stop this sort of un-godly false-teaching by the people I have mentioned, but can at least put foward the TRUTH, thus sayeth The Lord: and the Truth will set those who wish for it; FREE.

With Gods permission, blessings to all my true, Brothers & Sisters.

Frankly, I am not a believer at all in these wacky, far out hysteria type healings and services. These people are clearly faking it and letting their immaginations run wild, nothing more, nothing less.
Its not an evil spirit doing this, its the ridiculous nature of man that does this. The danger of this is that it encourages people to become distracted from the simple truth, the sane truth of Jesus Christ and his simple, easy to understand teachings. Since when did jesus act drunk and flop around on the floor like a convulsing fish out of water? Give me a break. I'll take two while your at it.
