I am really sorry to announce I shall not be appearing on Revelation tv for the foreseable future.
I love all the guys and girls there, the office staff, the production staff, presenters and management. I pray they will be truly blessed by the Lord Jesus in the future.
However at this present time their continued support of faith / money preacher Jesse Du Plantis and their denounciation of Jacob Prasch when he requested they think again about having Du Plantis regularly on air has forced me to consider my own position and the position and reputation of my wife Maria and the ministries I sometimes have as guests on Prophecy Update.
Not to mention our standing before the Lord Jesus in these last days.
As a result I have, after much heart searching and prayer, sadly decided to pull away from Revelation tv.
I cannot appear on the same station on a regular basis when the day before me and around the same time folks see a man who claims, among other things, to have been to heaven in a kind of cable car, watched the power of God fling an angel against a wall and to have seen baby spirits flying around begging to be born on earth.
My responsibility is to the Lord Jesus who saved me and to the christian and non-christian viewers who tune in to watch Prophecy Update.
I also have a responsibility to my friends who invite me to speak at their churches and to my family who are unsaved but watch what I do and would be aware I am on a tv station that houses such a man.
We must give a clear message to the lost and to the saved in these days.
So I pray you will all understand and please pray for myself and Maria, for Revelation tv and for Jacob Prasch at this very difficult time for all of us.
Some may say I apeared on tv when they housed Copeland and Hinn but I was on Genesis tv while I believe they were on Revelation tv.
Also, maybe I have just grown up spiritually, a little, over the last few years and have become more aware of the danger around us and a little more responsible knowing that our actions may influence so many.

the lord can only bless you and yours for taking such a clear and honest stand for HIM,in a day and climate where all and sundry are being embraced,i cryed ,big tears when i saw this,we ourselves has a family stopped watching rev tv sometime back ,when we began to see compromising on certain convictions and statements made,by certain people who lead rev tv,i.e Howard,i only mention him,because i don't want others to think it is someone else,sadly it all comes down to one thing ,money and the question then has to be asked ,does God want something to exist ,that compromises with the devil,if we begun in the spirit ,then end up in the flesh,its not good,or God,no compromise,is the word of the Lord to us all,because so many are ,love you all for your stand,love in christ,daniel John Hamer !! x

Great decision Bob, I and a number of people have emailed our concerns but no doubt losing many discerning Christian viewers is worth it when you can draw in more undiscerning so called Christians willing to send in lots of money in order to get rich thus your viewing figures and bank account increase significantly. I can think of no other reason why Rev would take on board such men when if they did only a small amount of research they would find evidence of much heresy and false doctrine. I recently went to the CLC bookshop in London which has moved from Holborn to Amen Corner and I was shocked by some of the authors/books I saw on sale, it was immediate to me that this shop runs as a business and not as a ministry, it's simply there to make money and prosper, not to spread the truth. So as stated me old son, well done I'm sure they're talking about you upstairs.

I have also distanced myself from Revelation TV, solely as a viewer, as a direct result of the ABUNDANCE of heretical teaching it has been propagating for far too long.
It isn't being 'loving' to condone deception for the sake of peace. God abominates mixture which is now, I believe, being called Syncretism. We are called to ‘come apart’ NEVER, ever, are we to mix or condone truth with error.
This has nothing to do with personalities but everything to do with standing true to God’s Word without compromise.

Jesse Du Plantis can be seen making these comments on youtube. I did'nt watch all of it,as its quite long,but it seems suspect, and unbelievable, his manner also seems less serious than I would expect had these things he said actually happened.I have always enjoyed watching Jacob Prasch,especially as he does'nt hold back when speaking out against preachers who he can, with bible quotes, show to be saying or doing things which go against scripture,so he will be missed. Of course we really enjoyed watching you and Maria on the channel.Fortunately we still have your excellent website Bob. It is confusing for those of us who have enjoyed Revelation tv, lets hope and pray for their viewers and their own sakes the truth will be revealed to rev. tv staff and the great responsibility they have will be used correctly.

my wife and I used to support Rev Tv. I have watched it go from"Philadelphian" to "Laodicean" in a short space of time. In my opinion you are right to withdraw from taking part in their broadcasts. I watched Rev Tv for 5 mns on Friday last and was very dsappointed in their reference to what some websites say about Mr Pratsch.
"The ruler of the kingdom of the air" is working tirelessly to maintain his hold on that realm.

You are right to stand down from Revelation tv; it seems, very sadly, there is no alternative. They have become increasingly compromised over the last few months; such a tragedy, as many, including myself, really hoped that they might provide a platform for sound teaching in these days. Alas, it seems that this is not to be.
My heart goes out to Anonymous. It is people like this we should be supporting. Anonymous, if we were to know where you live, perhaps some of us could visit you for fellowship and prayer, and to try and put you in touch with a sound fellowship in the area who could visit you, help you, and support you. Also, we could perhaps get you some cd's and dvd's by good Bible teachers such as Bob himself, Jacob Prasch, Brian Gemmell, Tom Chacko, Tony Pearce, Roger Winter-Smith etc.(as well as your being able to listen to them on some of their ministry websites.)
And Tommy - if you want a good Christian bookshop in London, then go to Cornerstone at 299 - 301 Lavender Hill, Battersea. It is owned and run by a lovely couple, Brian and Ulrike Warner, and is completely independent. Moreover, they are very careful and discerning about the sort of books they sell, as you will see if you check it out.
They also have regular teaching meetings at the Prayer and Bible School above; they have one this Tuesday, the 6th December if you want to go along. It starts at 7:30pm, and the speaker is John Angliss of South Of Reading Christian Fellowship.

I admire your stand, Bob, and am grateful for the "head's up". I have been watching Revelation TV with a discerning eye since I first discovered it earlier this year, picking and choosing what/who to watch and aware of errors along the way. I too am housebound and was grateful for a station that approached many different subjects from a Christian perspective. I am so bitterly disappointed that Rev TV should have chosen Duplantis over Prasch - it seems a no-brainer to me! Personally, like others here, I love Jacob's straight talking. It's what's needed in this day! I alwasy thought it was a dangerous sign that Jacob was asked not to name names... God bless you, Bob, for your stand. (I've emailed you too!)
Do spare a thought for Howard and Lesley Conder - they are trying to run a Christian TV station on a shoestring budget, and I'm sure they have made many sacrifices over the years.
But remember that the channel's main source of income is the fees that people pay to have their shows broadcast. The whole system encourages corruption, as generally the only people who can afford airtime are the prosperity preachers who constantly appeal for money. If you're faced with having to accept programming from the likes of DuPlantis (and he's by no means the only heretic they broadcast) or going out of business, your judgement and discernment will be impaired. Howard is not going to bite the hand that feeds him.
I don't know what the answer is, but I share your views on this matter and applaud you, Brian, and Jacob for having the courage to stand up to your convictions and seeking to do right in the eyes of the Lord.
Better out of business than to spread a false gospel and false teaching.
One thing I did forget to say in my comment and has been said by others here is of course to please pray for Howard, Lesley, Gordon, Lorna and Doug and the whole team.
They are wonderful folks and Maria and I love them dearly.
But without sounding too over the top, we love and we fear the Lord much more and simply were caught between keeping our mouths shut or voicing our opinions and leaving.
Really a very sad moment for Maria and me.
Rev TV has truly lost its way, so sad as they really were a light in a dark world, in years gone by. We have prayed that they would get back on track, we had their recent newsletter where they highlight a catholic viewer's comment that he prefers Rev TV to EWTN! We feel Duplantis is being made a bit of a scape goat, yes he has an appalling ministry but there has been so much more wrong with Rev TV for a long time, we re watched Lesley Condor's awful comments earlier concerning Justin Peters in 2010. Can only pray that they would swallow their pride and get back to the truth while there is still time.

Your God given conscience couldn't in all honesty allow you to carry on.
We shouldn't be surprised however. The Abiding Word of God has forewarned us that apostasy and deception would be rife in the last days. Truly the wheat and the tares are growing together, Matthew 13.38.
Our blessed Lord and Saviour taught that we cannot serve two masters, Matthew 6.24. It would appear that RTV have chosen the world.
As KK well said it is better that they go out of business than preach a false gospel.
Bob; The name Jesse Du Plantis has not been a name that I have ever heard mentioned before until I happened to come across it on this BlogSpot. Therefore, to see what information I could come up with I decided to do a little research on the man in question. Of course, U Tube was a good place to begin, and just as soon as I typed his name into a search engine and went to a video, I recognized him as being someone who had appeared on the local television media over here in Australia. That was not a good sign though, as it seems that rather than being a tool of Lord to lead the lost to salvation Satan seems to have taken over all media -- with the televangelists being no exception to that rule of thumb. This is going back a few years now but from what I can recall Du Plantis, appeared on the Copeland show at one stage or another. However, as birds of a feather flock together any association with Kenneth Copeland is not really a recommendation for anything at all. As the old saying goes, one can judge a man by the company he keeps. That is not to say that Du Plantis is a very charismatic looking man with his expensive suits and his flock a snow-white hair. Nevertheless, (as the old saying goes) looks can be deceptive. This appears to be the case in double portions relative to Du Plantis as just about every video that appeared in on UTube he spoke of the one constant theme, with that being prosperity. Just as is the case with Copland, Hinn and every other false teacher and pastor I can think of. This is not a good sign at all; in fact, the opposite is applicable. If the constant theme of pastors/ teachers is to utilize the name of the Lord as a means to an end to fill their own pockets with more and more cash, them these type of men, and any association with them, is best to be avoided at all costs. As that is the case, then you have done well to act in the manner that you had to disassociate yourself with Revelation TV if that particular channel has anything at all to do with worldly, money grabbing men of the caliber of Jesse Du Plantis. I do not know a great deal about Jacob Prasch, and as that is the case then I cannot give an opinion on whether or not any denunciation of his ministry by Du Plantis was warranted or not. That is still not to say that what I have noted on this BlogSpot over the years is that Jacob is not backward in coming forward with cynicism relative to other ministries. Accordingly, if one is to fire bullets at others, (even if those attacks were warranted) it should be expected that one should receive some in return. Well done brother Bob anyway with your stance relative to Revelation TV, your eternal salvation is now on steady ground!
I have to concur with others - the stance taken on RTV towards catholicism has worried me for a very long time..one presenter, (who should have known better) said on air that we just could not know if the marian apparitions were of God or not..(to which I would say, if WE don't know, then who in the world can?!)..and a few days later, when someone emailed in to warn them another presenter laughed and joked *oh yes, we are going to hell because of our stance*...well, no, you aren't, but it very worrying that there is little discernment among you.
However, as someone else above said, Howard IS in a very difficult position, and I do feel for him very much, as I do for Bob and Jacob too, and I have great rspect for him, he is undoubtedly a man of God.
I just hope there is some resolution without any further loss to the Body of Christ, because undoubtedly it is a great loss that these men are no longer there to teach and feed us on mainstream tv.

I wonder how Tim Vince, Simon Barret, Gordon and others 'put up with it easily enough' 2 Cor 11/14. How dare Revelation TV attack Jacob Prasch - an honourable man who contends for the gospel. I have never heard him say anything that is not biblically sound. Jacob is one of the very few people who have made the bible clear to me in a very concise and simple way - I am very upset. I have written to Rev TV to complain - I wonder if they will just ignore it like most of the churches do when people tell the truth!
Sorry but I just have to say that peoples sympathy for Howard Condor is misplaced..........it is difficult and costly for all of us. Howard should have enough wise counsellors and support around him. We all need to be faithful to what the Lord has called us to do otherwise we are good for nothing - we lose our saltiness. Jesus Christ paid an extraordinary price - I'm so glad He didn't compromise. It is a tough call but that is what we are all called to do.

If you go to the fairground or cinema you want all the junkie food. After all, it is a place for entertainment, hot dogs and ice cream is the order of the day. Revelation TV is mainly entertainment to keep the masses happy, bottle feeding and candy floss for the people who can't read the scriptures for themselves. Roll in the Daniel O'Donells and give them a show to themselves, that way nobody has to even open the scriptures never mind read them!!!!
After watching the appalling programme showing Gordon and Howard justifying their position I will be doing as Howard recommends and switching off because I don't like what I see.
Even a church without walls needs a Godly pastor and Godly teachers who discern right from wrong. However, you cannot go into the Catholic church to convert the lost, you have to come out from among them and be separate. Jacob's departure was inevitable.
Light has shone on my path having listened to the Q&A with Jacob - great hunks of wholemeal bread for my soul. The Bread of life, broken to nourish; far better than the daily discussions over the tabloids hand written by the ungodly.

Is this anything new? as long as I can remember in fact right back to the very beginning Howard aired the Benny Hinns of this world but alongside there was the little Gems, this is no different it has always been the same. If we take the like of John Hagee a man to me who's doctrine is questionable but many endorse him. It makes me sad when people leave a Television channel that airs to millions...your absence will speak nothing, only just that, you will be absent and allow Satan to have his way...yet again, just let me say this, you are not asked to fellowship with these men neither are you asked to sup with them but the Lord does ask us to preach the Gospel in season and out also Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?.........Thank God there are still Godly men willing to go out of there comfort zone and preach the Truth wherever it's possible to do so

I understand your concern. And I wrestled over this for days and days.
However we must send out a clear trumpet sound in these days.
For me to appear one day and then for Jesse Du Plantis to be on another day on the same station gives the picture that we are all one big happy family. Especially when no presenter on Revelation tv is allowed to mention names of heretical preachers or organisations for fear of being slapped.
I could give a personal example but will not.
What fellowship has light with darkness?
Would Jesus have been happy preaching at the temple without exposing the Pharasees?
Would Paul have said okay to preaching in Galatia without warning about the false apostles?
The only choice a presenter on Revelation tv has is a simple one. Keep quiet about the Jesse Du Plantis' of this world or else you get into trouble.
To keep quiet is to condone.
So I left. It wasn't easy. In fact we were hurting when we did it but we also had the peace of God that we were doing right.
I must face the Lord Jesus one day and give an account. Do I stay and shut up or leave and speak out and seek with God's help another outlet?

it's not just recently that RTV has compromised themselves for what is probably pure commercial gain
On the one hand they were "complaining" about the questionable teaching of the blab it and grab it con artists masquerading as preachers,while at the same time broadcasting their output
I once emailed into the RTV morning show about this hypocrisy,and Yemi balogun almost had a seizure on air
hypocrisy seems to have been rife on that channel for some itme.I could not belive my eyes when they first interviewed staunch roman catholic Dana as if she was a Christian believer,and then had a Daniel O'Donnell special
the rot set in a long time ago.....just be thankful yourself and Jacob Prasch managed to get out of the car crash that RTV is becoming before it was too late

I almost wanted to agree with 'keeping the faith' above, that it is best to stay on and try to counter act the bad but I know this is not the right way. We watched 'Building the Foundation' on Rev TV last night, thinking they might be a bit subdued, could not have been more wrong, it was a real 'no stopping us now' show, almost along the lines of the BBC's extravaganza 'Children in Need'. We have seen this happen to so many well known ministries when they become 'successful' in worldly terms, they lose that special God given quality that sets them apart from the world. I still enjoy much of the channel but I had the awful thought that they are helping to pave the way for the antichrist, promoting an all inclusive, ecumenical 'Christianity', anything goes as long as you have 'love and grace'!

I agree entirely. By the way they are, from what I can gather doing 'very,very well, thank you very much'. They have got a 'good little number' going on there.
This whole shebang at RTV reminds me of a time about ten years ago, when I was very uncomfortable with the church I was part of. When informing the Reverend of my opinions, he told me 'Don't rock the boat'.
This lot at RTV are 'Dyed in the wool Catholics'.
That said I fear they will get more and more successful.
Perhaps some time in the near future they will be organising trips to the vatican, and Howard will be doing a Q&A with Cardinal O'Daly? Sounds far fetched? Or does it? Who knows anymore?
RTV used to provide meat,alot of good, thought provoking teaching and discussion and they were able to do so, I believe, from simple premises, with essential equipment.
Was a bit uncomfortable when they acquired an expensive vehicle for outdoor broadcasting and it never came to anything;even more so when they started to promote 'super luxury' villas in Spain and still find it odd concerning their Spanish studio, especially the area, not too far from Marbella, (I believe), is it really necessary and justified? must be a very significant expense. But God knows all and thankfully we can rest in this peace, knowing that His purposes will always win through.

yes Jesse was sweetdarling. I use to watch God t.v in my early christian days and saw him then-Jesse,talking about an antique chair. thank God i was led to the truth and Thank God for men who are speaking it. Am so very sad though i use to love revelation t.v. How can we not name names? howard did a puppet show joking but angry once about prosperity teachers,am sure 1 was Mike murdoch. so thats why i find it all strange.
Hi anonymous, I did reply to the question regarding not naming names but it seems to have vanished. There is no legal requirement but there is a verbal "please ask your guestst not to mention names of men and ministries they consider questionable or wrong" type of request.

But God has all things in hand and we know truth divides and in the end God's will will overcome.
I can so relate to yourself and Jacob - I have just been through a very similar problem - though I am not in your league!! I resigned from my church prayer team when I found out that they had put a Freemason on the team. I left the homeless project because we were instructed not to preach the gospel to our homeless friends. Then we had a high profile visit from Mark Stibbe (another associate of Todd Bentley) and Mission Shaped communities were established at the cost of closing cell groups. Again the instruction was NOT to preach the gospel to our mission shaped communities. I am afraid that the Freemason was the last straw - I had a terrible argument with the vicar and have now left the church. I think Jacob is a lot tougher than me and is probably handling it better. We DO need to make a stand otherwise the darkness will take over. Thank God for men like Bob and Jacob - a new TV station would be very good -- but need true men of God who will not compromise at the heart of it.

Just want to thank you Bob and Maria for giving people this opportunity to express their feelings, I do hope RTV are reading these comments as there is no such facility on their web site. Have just read your latest post concerning your email to RTV, I hope they have the decency to respond to these issues on the Late Show tonight (as well as to yourself)but I daresay they may be concerned with damage limitation, they said they only discussed Jacob on last Friday's show because he had contacted those on his mailing list. At the end of the day, sadly, most RTV viewers will be ignorant of these issues and RTV would probably prefer it that way! Lastly, I think it is incredible how God has moved two very different men to make this stand, it just shows clearly that it is nothing to do with individual personalities but is all about the Word of God.

the other day and as yet have no reply, I have emailed the rtv leaders several times now including Doug harris of reachout trust (rtv's employee) asking him where he stands regarding false teaching on RTV, again as yet no reply.

Just watched the Late Show on RTV where Howard presented, it was just sad, he admitted he was being sarcastic and it showed. He referred to divisive people trying to bring down the channel,he said God would have His way and on that last point, at least, I am sure we are all agreed. He made reference to 'spiritual prigs' seeking to follow the Law.
I am just saddened that they can not consider that the Godly men they have worked alongside and many of their dear viewers who like us may have supported and followed the channel for years, might just have some spiritual discernment and might be worth listening to. It is almost like they are behaving like a rebellious teenage child, determined to go their own way.
Not replying to genuine and courteous emails is not acceptable for any responsible organisation. I am sure the future of the channel is not an issue but surely we are all praying and hoping that it continues on a Godly path and it seems there are big barriers at present.

This is exactly what happens when people will not face up to their own sin - they blameshift. If Howard and co cannot see what is wrong they are truly spiritually blind leaders - it is they who are the Pharisees.
Sarcasm has no place in a Christian's vocabulary. Repentance is needed very urgently - if Howard cannot see what is wrong with Duplantis then he doesn't deserve a TV station. God has put him there for a particular purpose - not for money - not for a fancy Spanish studio. If he will not do the job faithfully God will find others who will (as was said to Queen Esther). There is no shame in admitting you are wrong - I would rather humble myself than grieve the Holy Spirit. I am very surprised Tim Vince, Doug Harris, Simon Barrett etc. have not made a stand - or are they too weak to make waves and stand up to Howard Condor.

Rev TV needs to be giving a clear signal in these last days and not a mixture 1 Cor 14/7,8. Other presenters need to take a stand for the Lord and be counted and not just acquiesce to this madness. This is where it gets costly but worth it and this is where we see where people truly stand. Like Nazi Germany the church for the most part just stood by and did nothing. There is a saying that 'evil prevails when good men do nothing' or biblically to 'resist false teachers' as Paul instructed Timothy 2 Tim 2 14-19. To be silent is to acquiesce/condone.
I heartily agree with most of what has been posted on here in defence of Bob and Jacob.
However I have to keep reminding myself of the great blessing that Revelation TV in times past has been to our spiritual walk.
RTV was until the Justin Peters controversy (in my opinion at least)a bright light shining in a very dark world.
I couldn't care how much money Catholic institutions etc contribute to the coffers of RTV, it is the pensioners,widows,less well off etc that I am concerned about.
As has been said before they have got a very successful operation and this is what is blinding them to the truth. Their ministry would appear to be their idol.
I pray that the staff at RTV would see the light and come to repentance-no shame, but a wonderful and liberating experience.

But what exactly CAN be done? We can't really write to our local MPs about this or hold a protest meeting outside their studios. We can only rebuke them with firm but polite communications.
RTV have chosen the path that they wish to take. Bob,Jacob and everyone else that disagrees with their position just have to move on.
I pray that God would open another door and use these servants mightily in this dark world.
As for the other presenters I pray that 'God will grant them repentance so that they will recover themselves out of the snare of the Devil'; 2 Tim 2.25-26.
Du Plantis in my opinion was the straw that broke the camel's back as there are so many other issues including their pro Roman Catholic and ecumenical stance.
So as this has been going on for a long time now, I doubt whether the other presenters will see the light over this issue. Although I pray and hope that they would.

I think it is up to us to speak out and that is what people have done, though I wish many more had done so. Howard and co are in the Lord's hands; I have prayed for them and committed them to the Lord. I am concerned about people being led astray by false teaching - very much so - and this kind of thing gives Christianity a bad name. They may have started well, but it is finishing that matters Jer 5.31... 'the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?' I think the Lord is pleased that people have taken a stand and we must leave it in His hands unless something else develops which needs further comment. Sometimes I think it is right to keep speaking out as Jeremiah did.... but I don't plan to hold a meeting outside their studios (unless the Lord directs that is)!
Colin, I would disgree with you slightly - RTV is indeed a bright light in a dark world of Christian tv, but there have been foretastes of this long before the Justin Peters incident - for example with Benny Hinn and Amiti, and also the Todd Bentley situation.
It is clear that there are people in the highest echelons of the station who endorse this kind of teaching and that that is why it is getting a free pass.
I had long hoped it was not so and swung from being wildly encouraged by them to exactly where we are today.
I think I have been fooling myself.
They all are good, good people who are pouring out their lives for God (and achieving a crown before Him that I never could) - but that aside something is missing in the station discernment wise.
Having said that they are in a very difficult position financially, and we as their main contributors must take some responsibility for that - if we won't support them (and I chastise myself here) they may be forced to look to people like Duplantis for a dependable income.
The saddest thing for me is the notion of a church without walls, a family in Him - wow what a wonderful thing - but how sad when your voice is not welcome within that family, and so often on air when legitimate concerns are raised it is met with disdain or scorn.
I love RTV greatly, and I will continue to do so, but when the rubber meets the road on issues like this it is certainly a bitter sweet experience.
Anonymous - sweet - I disagree profoundly. They are not 'good, good people' at all - they are transmitting heresy worldwide. They are causing confusion amongst believers by mixing sound and unsound doctrines. It is God who provides our needs and we need not look to men at all. They don't look to me as if they are in a difficult financial position - a fancy new studio in Spain etc. Only God is dependable, not income from people like Duplantis. I think there will be a lot of surprises about who gets the crowns when we do get to heaven.

We all know that the Lord said there is not one that is good but only God; Matthew 19.17.
I was aware that there have been a roll call of heretics over the years at RTV, but obviously disregarded them. The thing that Justin Peters exposed was the true spirit of the hierarchy at RTV. How they censored and plugged you tube etc.
I don't know why Jacob moved when he did, but sadly I don't believe that RTV are going to change their modus operandi.

I am perplexed as to why people tolerate heresies. meaning, those precious impartations of God meant to deliver those lost into a wonderful freedom which others twist for their own personal gain. These people muddy the waters so those who would see cannot and therefore remain lost. I also cannot understand why these people are tolerated by those who claim to see clearly because the Lord himself, the Apostles and those appointed by the Apostles didn't tolerate them. Iraneus wrote books warning about them and naming them, Paul named them and Iraneus quoting Polycarp who was a disciple of the apostle John and the Bishop of Smyrna spoke of a time when John heard that a heretic was in the vicinity He relates, for example, that John went to the public baths in Ephesus and saw the gnostic Cerinthus there. Immediately, he rushed out of the bath house, shouting, "Let us flee, lest the bath house fall down! For Cerinthus, the enemy of the truth, is within". I believe It's a good opportunity to witness to the truth in all love and gentleness when someone is confused over the various teachings of people like Jesse Duplantis verses the exhortations of brother Jake and Justin Peters and also yourself Bob. Remember, to bear all things and count it pure joy when you suffer for Christs sake as you are doing at this time. Unfortunately it would seem that we are all disposable to RTV,we have dared to question and confront their choices and judgement before the Word of God.
Their arrogance, virtual silence, and pathetic sarcasm on the issues has astonished and very much disappointed me but as usual the great monster 'pride' is at the root of it all. The TV station is truly their idol, it blinds them to the truth. They would have hearts of stone if they were not to be moved by many of the comments on here and many of the emails that have been sent and by Bob, Maria and Jacob's gracious communications and pleas. I have sent a long, prayerful and, I believe, very respectful email and had no reply.
We can only pray that those at RTV will reconsider their position before God.

What of TTV (Titanic TV), remember the ship could have averted disaster, right up to the last hour, if those in control had woken up and changed course, if they had been alert rather than complacent, believing that nothing could sink them. When the end came it was better to be in a little rowing boat than on a grand luxury liner, in fact it was the difference between life and death (on this earth). We can but pray that they see the iceberg.

I thought RTV transferred to Spain to release them from Ofcom regulations, especially concerning 'freedom of speech'.
Now it is RTV who muzzle speakers and block the truth.
God works through all situations and He has blessed many of us through RTV, inspite of the presence of false teachers on the channel. We always felt there was more that was good and biblical than there was error and we, perhaps foolishly, trusted in the integrity of the main presenters. Of late there has been a more blatent acceptance of catholicism and false teaching and RTV appear to be moving in a more worldly direction. We thank the Lord that His Truth is exposing things, we pray for clear direction for those who seek His Truth and we continue to pray for those who, we believe are deceived.
I have been very encouraged reading all these comments as I have been so upset by the treatment of Bob and Jacob by RTV. They have only ever preached biblical truth.
I have watched RTV for many years and have been blessed, but always have had a check in my spirit regarding their weak stance on Roman Catholicism and also allowing very dubious folk like the adventists and now Jesse D on their station.
I am wondering, as some above have alluded, that RTV would not be able to function without the income from some of these so called ministries! If they were to be as most of us posting here wish, they mostly likely could not afford to broadcast.
It is very noticeable that the sets have become very much more plush over recent weeks! Has their ambition blinded them with regard to the truth?
Every time I have corresponded with RTV they have only ever listened if I have said nice positive things. On the occasions when I have written with concerns (I had to withdraw financial support after the "we're all going to hell" comment. It was very nasty), they either don't answer or make out it's somehow my fault!
I have been the Lord's for 50 years and have seen much, but it seems people like me (like us!) who love and cherish the precious Word, are becoming even more sidelined. I thought RTV was different, but sadly it seems it is just the same as all the rest!

To Anonymous. Well the person who said that particular comment is no longer on RevTV, but it was said in response to a someone's concerns about RevTV's seeming embracing of Roman Catholicism. I won't mention the names, but the reponse was scathing. It really shocked me!
Even if they don't agree with or like what viewers are saying, they should be gracious in reply as both Bob and Jacob were towards RevTV when they wrote to them.
I speak as someone who really only wants everyone to get on, but in this case it seems impossible without compromising on false doctrine!

Yes, so true. I expected an anouncment about Bobs leaving a thankyou for him being a part of the channel. But nothing has been said on air. am dissapointed in them.
Regarding the income question, (this was referred to yesterday as well), would we not all be more at peace with RTV if they stuck to a simple studio and essentail equipment and only hosted teachers who preached from the Word of God? We used to contribute a significant amount monthly for several years, as well as one off donations, believe God would provide for their essential needs, not necessarily their wants and optional extras. We have seen several ministries go seriously in to error and then reject those who tried to speak out and so often they appear to prosper financially - obviously satan wants to encourage error and false teachers, anything apart from the pure Word of God.
This is such a difficult and sad situation, whilst RTV seem to believe that many of the concerns raised come from divisive troublemakers, I am firmly convinced that most, if not all of us are persisting because we genuinely love and care for RTV and it has been such am important part of our lives. At the end of the day, if RTV are to continue to ignore these issues, they have to be convinced that there is not Godly truth and biblical substance in what has been said to them; they have to be convinced that they are doing God's will and we are the deluded ones to be pitied. The best, but in human terms, also sometimes the hardest thing about our Christian faith is that there is only one Truth and both ways can not be right. We all like to believe that we have the Holy Spirit of Christ, guiding and protecting us but the Holy Spirit can only impart God's Truth, from His Word, may He pour His wisdom upon us and those at RTV.

I think you are very well meaning but false teaching brings a lot of harm to God's undiscerning people. The apostle Paul stood up publicly against Peters false teaching. Opposition to heresy does need to be public. If we are silent or appear to be silent then it spoils our own testimony because it condones the false teaching, it taints everything we do - a little leaven taints the whole lump. I don't think it is unloving to publicly oppose false teachers and to challenge the mixture on revelation TV. The sword of the spirit is offensive not defensive i.e. the word of God does divide. I have nothing personal against any of these men on RTV but I believe they should be speaking out and contending for the truth. If they are getting by with this what will be next? Sorry but I think your sentimentalism is misplaced. It is the Lord Jesus who comes first every time - anything that is a compromise is an affront to Him.
I appreciate Barbara's comments but RTV are also guilty of making hurtful and emotional comments, this is why we all desperately need the wisdom of the Lord.
I think it is the lack of response from RTV that has upset people. I hope, after prayer and consideration, RTV will address the concerns that have been raised and post a full and clear response on their web site and make a statement on air. Only by bringing everything into the light can we hope to move on in a Godly direction.

Barbara, your comment is confusing. First you back Bob and Jacob and then you attack them for making a stand! God abhors mixture, the Bible makes it very clear. This leads to uncertainty and we know as it says in Corinthians "For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound , who will prepare for battle ? We have to be ready. If RTV are not clear in their mandate, they will, albeit unknowingly, confuse and even worse deceive people.
Sadly, now it appears Gordon is in hospital and he needs our prayers. Please let us pray for them all at RTV and also for Bob and Jacob at this difficult time.
Would like to say I'm so glad to read all these comments. For a long while I'd thought I must be the sole viewer to be unhappy about Rev tv's all-emcompassing philosophy as no emails were ever read out to that effect.I was pleasantly surprised when Howard actually had Jacob Prasch on the channel and allowed him the freedom to say what he wanted. The sticking point seems to be that Howard took great offence at what he saw as JP's trying to tell him who he should or shouldn't have on the station.
In the past I've emailed Rev tv questioning their support of Roman Catholicism,Seventh day Adventism,Latter Rain etc plus their notion that they can set up God's Kingdom on earth by changing society.But do I ever hear back from them ?? It's extremely frustrating and therefore very refreshing to be able to discuss what's happening here without people taking offence. It's our motives that matter and one wonders what motives are driving Rev tv to deal with these issues the way they do. Sweeping stuff under the carpet, being sarcastic and ignoring genuine Christian concerns is not good. Thank God for people like Bob who have the courage of their convictions. It warms the cockles of my heart.

It has never, ever been my desire for RTV to fail,I want it to succeed! But! At what cost? Not at the cost of truth. I believe as all (I hope) true believers do, that error must not be allowed to continue unabated. This situation is symptomatic of the 'Frog in a slow boiling water syndrome'; it is overcome by the boiling water before it knows that it is in any danger!
The 'Broad all inclusive' approach is exactly the Romish deception. The bible teaches us that 'Narrow is the way that leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it'. Matthew 7.13.
I believe that Eileen has raised some very pertinent questions. From a very quick squint at her blog site, she would appear to be an 'ordinary' woman, yet she is certainly NO fool! I commend her for her perception and insight. It also 'warms the cockles of my heart' that she is not easily led down a blind dark alley.
The financial fiasco that RTV have been running away with also troubles me. According to their accounts, Howard's sons Joel and Mles were paid £39,000 each last year alone! In fact their are many other family members on the 'Gravy train' as well.
Their income in many cases is coming from vulnerable people (pensioners,widows etc) that can ill afford to sponsor this whole shebang.
I did watch the DuPlantis video again: Howard,Gordon and Doug; You cannot continue to defend the indefensible.

Since my conversion from atheism I've had a keen desire for God's truth.
Something Roger Oakland quoted in his recent book has made me think that some Christians do not see the need for 'discernment' because they mistakenly believe that the prophecied Apostasy of the church will not happen till after the Rapture. This would explain a lot of their attitude towards those of us who try to sound a warning because they think Jesus is returning for a Bride without spot or wrinkle, so I guess, to them, we are the spots and wrinkles! [I've never believed we can make the church spotless - that is the Lord Jesus Christs work in us]. So to them, joining with the RC church on social issues etc is quite legitimate.
Sadly Howard at every opportunity seems to refer to us as the 'Religious People'. I'm finding it very difficult to watch Rev tv now. I support them financially as well!
I have been concerned along with many others about why presenters and staff have not spoken out regarding Jacob Prasch and Bob Mitchell and why there is a complete blackout on viewers concerns. I have emailed Revelation TV several times and had no reply at all. I watched Doug Harris on 'God Morning' today - he is a man who contends for the gospel publicly among the Jehovas Witnesses and others, and yet he is silent over this matter. I did send Doug an email to Reachout Trust and have had no reply. What kind of hold does Howard Conder have on these people that they disobey the Lord Jesus Christ? Whatever it is, it is evil. When things were not right at my church I challenged again and again and I have now left completely. I am no Jeremiah but I just had to challenge, I couldn't hold it in and be at peace. I am at a complete loss as to how these presenters can carry on as if nothing has happened.... how can they do it? I am finding it sickening to watch RTV any more because of this.
But if I say, "I will not remember Him Or speak anymore in His name," Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; And I am weary of holding it in, And I cannot endure it.

I believe that God is behind this shaking at RTV and I trust that what He has started, He will finish, there have been rumblings leading up to this, it has not just come from no where.
It would appear that RTV do not believe this or presumably they would change course with all haste; therefore they must believe and indeed have said that those making this stand are divisive and presumably have nothing better to do than compose 'unloving' communications. How can they defend themselves against God's Truth other than to keep regurgitating how unloving people are and that is wearing a bit thin now.

I praise and thank God that I have found your blog and thank you for your teaching and faithfulness to God, I have been a watcher of RTV for some time and saddened by the sequence of events. However, thank God He as drawn me to find you hear
I emailed Bob over this and am sad that he and Jacob are no longer on Revelation TV.
I have emailed Rev TV but they do no reply. Likewise, I emailed Doug via Reachout Trust and he has not replied either, which is unusual as he normally replies to all emails.
I too wish we could start a new channel that preaches the truth. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility. Yemi Balogun left REV TV to start his own channel, and although it is currently only available on the web, it is aiming to launch on tv soon.
Fund raising via this site and others, supporters of Bob and Jacob, former viewers of Rev TV, and most of all the help of Holy Spirit could do it. You don't need to have a 24/7 operation. Many started out with just a few hours a day.
Anyway, something to think about. I am more than willing to help as I am sure are others.
