ASSAD SURVIVES POSSIBLE COUP AND CONFOUNDS THE UN
Ten months after the Syrian people launched an uprising against its ruler, Bashar Assad, if not yet safe in the saddle, has recovered the bulk of his army's support and his grip on most parts of the countryProtesters have mostly been pushed into tight corners in the flashpoint towns and villages, especially in the north, hemmed in by troops and security forces loyal to the president.Monday, Jan. 30, Syrian forces were close to purging the suburbs and villages around Damascus of rebel fighters. The operation began Sunday with 2,000 troops backed by tanks and armored personnel carriers. Six soldiers were killed when their vehicle blew up on a roadside bomb near Sahnaya, east of the capital.The rebel Free Syrian Army and opposition groups continue to report heavy fighting in the Damascus area, and especially the international airport where they claim to have prevented Assad's wife and children from fleeing the country. However, military watchers do not confirm either the fighting or the Assad family's attempted flight.While both sides spin propaganda, the extreme hyperbole of opposition claims attests to their hard straits and the Syrian president's success in weathering their efforts and the huge sacrifices in blood paid by the people (estimated at 8,000 dead and tens of thousands injured) to oust him.Having got rid of the Arab League monitoring mission, which gave up in despair of halting the savage bloodbath, Assad will shrug off the Arab-Western backed motion put before the UN Security Council Tuesday, Jan. 30, calling on him to step down and hand power to his vice president Farouk a-Shara. He will treat it as yet another failed effort by the combined Arab-Western effort to topple his regime.The conflict is not over. More ups and downs may still be to come and there are signs of sectarian war evolving. But for now, Assad's survival is of crucial relevance in seven Middle East arenas:1. The Tehran-Damascus-Hizballah bloc is strengthened, joined most recently by Iraq;2. Iran chalks up a first-class strategic achievement for counteracting the US and the Saudi-led Gulf Arab emirates' presentation of the Islamic regime as seriously weighed down under by the crushing burden of crushing international sanctions imposed to halt its drive for a nuclear bomb.3. Hizballah has won a chance to recover from the steep slide of its fortunes in Lebanon. The Pro-Iranian Lebanese Shiite group stands to regain the self-assurance which ebbed during Assad's hard times against massive dissidence, re-consolidate its bonds with Tehran, Damascus and Baghdad and rebuild its political clout in Beirut.4. It is hard to calculate the enormous extent of the damage Saudi Arabia and Turkey have suffered from their colossal failure in Syria. The Palestinians too have not emerged unscathed.Saudi Arabia, Qatar and their security agencies, which invested huge sums in the Syrian rebellion's removal of the Assad regime, were trounced by Syria's security and intelligence services and the resources Iran provided to keep Bashar Assad afloat.The Arab League, which for the first time tried its hand at intervening in an Arab uprising by sending observers into Syrian trouble spots to cut down the violence, watched impotently as those observers ran for their lives. Assad for his part first accepted than ignored the League's peace plan.Turkey, too, after indicating its military would step across the border to support the Syrian resistance and giving the FSA bases of operation, backed off for the sake of staying on good terms with Iran.5. Russia and China have gained credibility in the Middle East and points against the United States by standing up for Assad and pledging their veto votes against any strong UN Security Council motions against him. Moscow's arms sales and naval support for the Assad regime and China's new military and economic accords with Persian Gulf emirates have had the effect of pushing the United States from center stage of the Arab Revolt, held in the Egyptian and Libyan revolutions, to the sidelines of Middle East action.6. The Syrian ruler has confounded predictions by Israel's Defense Minister Ehud Barak that he can't last more than a few weeks. His survival and the cohesion of his armed forces have contributed to the tightening of the Iranian military noose around Israel.The Syrian army was in sustained operation for almost a year without breaking and suffered only marginal defections. It is still in working shape with valuable experience under its belt in rapid deployment between battlefronts. Syria, Iran and Hizballah have streamlined the cooperation among their armies and their intelligence arms.7. The Palestinian rivals, Fatah and Hamas, have again put the brakes on the on-again, off-again reconciliation after it was galvanized by Hamas' decision to create some distance between Iran and the embattled Syrian regime. Seeing Assad still in place, Hamas' Gaza prime minister Ismail Haniyeh will visit Tehran this week and Meshaal may delay his departure from the Syrian capital.

Those who are interested in the end time may find the following information enlightening. However in the reading of is there are two points that one needs to keep in mind. The first one being that the author, Texe Marrs, is a very well known anti-Semitic, and with the gift of 1.1 trillion dollars given to the E.U., what that effectively means is the US has taken over a large share of the European economy. Secondly, there is a man who is running for the US presidency who aspires to be a God, as if he were a God, and his name is Mitt Romney.

Hi there Bro; There is something else that I have not seen noted anywhere else on the Internet, the similarity between the surnames of the first ever full time president of the EU, Herman Van Rompuy, and Mitt Rompuy, what do you make of that, or is it just a coincidence after all. It certainly is coming together a lot faster than what I ever imagined it would that is for sure, particularly with regards to what is happening in the Middle East with all of the former dictatorships being gradually removed one by one with the Syrian leader looking like he will be then next one to go. Mitt Romney - the man who would be a God in his own lifetime?
There have been so many suspects over the years for the correct identity of the Antichrist that it is really beginning to start to look quite tiresome. Accordingly, there is no point in my suggesting at this stage that Mitt Romney is the Antichrist until there is a lot more proof to verify that assertion.
All that I am suggesting with this article is that there are certain points of interest that I have noted over the past few weeks of so that point in that direction.
Similarly, that was exactly the same thing that was said about Barak Obama when he was first elected as the American president. As the whole world knows, Barak Obama is not the Antichrist but in the case of Mitt Romney, things are a lot different.
(1) Mitt Romney has a few secrets he really does not want you to know...Mitt is not JUST a member of the Mormon Church. Mitt Romney is a Temple Mormon, a High Priest, and as such, he has sworn blood oaths of sacrifice, obedience, and consecration to the church and the soon coming, long prophesied "Kingdom of God."
His belief in, and obedience to these laws, will allow him to become a polygamous god in the next life, the literal father of the peoples of a new and different earth. He wears secret undergarments marked with sacred talismanic symbols that he believes will keep him protected as he works his way to godhood. He is truly a Presidential candidate with an actual, definable god complex.
This "Kingdom of God" is the actual Mormon Theocracy that will take over the U.S. government when the Constitution of the United States "hangs by a thread" and the nation is 'saved' by the Mormon Brethren, the LDS spiritual leaders. The prophet and the apostles and key Mormons in high positions, such as Mitt Romney sitting in the Oval Office. The money pouring into his campaign is not accidental. It is to fulfill prophecy.
Mitt Romney's strong candidacy for 2012 and his possible presidency has become a whispered ground swell of speculation in Mormon circles, as they wonder if he is the "one Mighty and Strong" who will usher in the last days and bring America into the LDS "Kingdom of God." These are the whispers that the Brethren hope do not become public but are laid wide open in this chapter.
We know from the prophecies of the Bible that the Antichrist is going to move into a newly built temple in Jerusalem and from there proclaim himself to be God reincarnate here on the earth. Accordingly, if Mitt Romney wants to be a God that makes the probability that he is the Antichrist even higher as there is no want to be American president that I can ever recall who has held that stance.
(2) The American criminal government and its scandalously corrupt Fed Reserve Bank secretly “printed” over $1.1 trillion dollars and electronically gave this gigantic bonanza to Europe’s Central Bank (ECB) and to a number of banks in Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Portugal, and elsewhere.
These European institutions, because of their greedy ponzi schemes that had failed, were on rubbery, last legs and the whole of Europe was about to go bankrupt. Then, our conniving and criminal Fed Reserve came to the rescue of their fellow crooks, with 1.1 trillion dollars!
Just days before this outrageous crime was perpetrated, the Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke, publicly stated that to bail out Europe’s banks and to “recapitalize” Europe’s elitist, troubled government financial institutions would be “a violation of federal law.” It will not be done, the Jewish con man said. But it was, and without a peep from President Obama or our impotent Congress.
Effectively what that really means is that because of the printing of this money and by ploughing it into the ailing European economy the US Fed has brought out a large share of the EU. Therefore, what we are seeing is the world coming closer and closer to a New World Order.
Of course, what that also means is that because the EU really does not have a figure to represent them on the world stage as their president, (apart from Nicholas Sarkozy who is about to retire) now that both the EU and American economies are beginning to merge into one, whoever is elected as then next American president could be the one who is going to rule over this powerhouse?
Special note: even though I have stated above that Nicholas Sarkozy is about to retire is still does rule him out of being quite a significant player in the end times events yet to come. If Mitt Romney does prove to be the Antichrist there may also be the possibility that Sarkozy may be the False Prophet, particularly if were ever to be appointed to head the IMF after his retirement from politics.

Just wondering but doesn't the bible say that the antichrist comes from over in europe somewhere,not america? Not to be snide but from things I have read there is alot of countries that don't like america and our western ways so why would they ever open their arms to any man claiming to be God(antichrist) from america.I just don't see countries like Iran embracing a american man as his God.I could be wrong,stranger things have happen.God Bless!
From what I read he comes from a part of the Roman empire but what a lot of folks tend to forget is there was and eastern leg to the empire that lasted far longer than the western. That covered the middle east almost to india.
Also when the prophets lookd at end times much of their visions related to the area surrounding the Med.
You are both correct, as all that I was really suggesting is the Mitt Romney should be someone that we should keep an eye on should he ever be elected as the next EU president...However there is still something else that needs to be considered relative to the remainder of the Bible prophecies, everything that has to do with future events is open to interpretation as far as the fulfillment of the prophecies is concerned, and so in that sense all cards are on the tables.Does the prophecy really refer to the Revised Roman Empire, and if it does, what are the nations that are the eastern and western legs? Could it be that the eastern and western legs are the E.U and the U.S? Food for thought at least?
When Rome ruled the eastern leg was the Middle east across north Africa almost to India.
The western leg was Europe.
All prophets when looking at these events seemed to look only at those nations around the Med and then to the east.

This is really no time at all to argue as all that we can do is to wait and see just how the rest of the prophecies eventually pan out. I have been driving for 12 to 13 hours, now all that needs to be done is to get my book keeping up to date and then hit the sack, so goodnight for the time being

Hi there Friends; an eastern and western leg, that's interesting, but also leaves us opens to the other theory that the world has been divided up into ten super nations, (see the Club of Rome) with the Western leg being the EU and the US, with the eastern being China, the world's largest manufacturing factory. I am not an expert on the times of the Romans, but I would have thought that when Rome ruled the whole it was the world that known to exist at that time. Accordingly, when the Bible refers to the Antichrist as having control of the Revised Roman Empire it refers to him taking over the whole world, as we have come to know it on this day, and not the ancient world of the old Roman Empire, as is the case with that particular part of the world. All that I am suggesting with the above is that whenever someone has an interpretation relative to the word of God there is always someone who has a different interpretation, but that does not necessarily make either one of those interpretations correct. In other words, whenever there is a positive there is always a negative, or that something that we may have thought was correct yesterday relative to the scriptures might not be true and correct today. For example, the timing of what so many have thought for so long exists within the word of God to a Rapture of the Church. Be blessed, as we rapidly approach the return of the Lord.

I really only made the aforementioned comments while operating under extreme duress after having been on the road for a number of hours.
