The exercises involve Topol (SS-25 Sikle), Topol-M (SS-27 Sickle B) and Yars
(RS-24) mobile systems stationed in central Russia and Siberia.
“SMF units armed with Topol, Topol-M and Yars road-mobile missile systems will practice patrolling, camouflaging and launch preparation procedures during high alert drills from January 16 to February 3,” Koval told reporters on Monday.
The SMF are planning to hold over 100 tactical drills in the first half of 2012.
As of January 2012, the SMF operated at least 162 mobile Topol systems, 18 mobile Topol-M and 15 mobile Yars systems.

About 70 new rocket and missile systems will be tested at Russia’s Kapustin Yar test range in 2012, an increase of 150 percent from last year, a Defense Ministry spokesman said on Friday.
The systems are part of more than 160 ongoing projects, said Col. Vadim Koval, without providing any details.
Last year, more than 500 missile test launches were made at the Kapustin Yar rocket launch and development site, he added.
Almost all the missile and rocket related branches and services of the Russian Armed Forces, including the Strategic Missile Forces, the Air Defense Forces, and the Missile Forces and Artillery conduct their tests at Kapustin Yar, located in the Astrakhan region, between the cities of Volgograd and Astrakhan.

This maybe on an entirely different theme, but have you noticed the way that Sarkozy is strutting the world stage lately acting like the King of Europe? When he really is nothing more than just the president of France He is posing as he is the president of the EU, as if he were the president of the EU. I don't have a crystal ball with which to predict the future with, but if I did and just happened to look into it I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that what I was looking at were Sarkozy appointed as the president of the EU after the next French elections. If that ever happened, then look out, as we are just about near the end of it all. What that also means of course is that those who have been saying that the Antichrist was of Jewish origin were right all along.
Brother Bob; There is a news story starting to develop that the French president Nicholas Sarkozy has decided to bring the French troops home from Afghanistan because there had been four shot dead by those they were supposed to be assisting with training. That does not seem to be a reasonable enough excuse to bring the troops home from what is really a war situation where one would expect some types of causalities. After all, there have been Australian casualties in Afghanistan that has resulted from a similar type of situation and yet we have not withdrawn our own troops because of what has happened. The kind of mindset Sarkozy is harbouring reminds me of another man in modern times by the name of Slobodan Milosevic who once said that if there was anything done to harm Serbs in anyway the consequences would be horrendous. The rest is history with the ethnic cleansing campaign that took place throughout areas controlled by the Bosnian Serb Army during the 1992–1995 Bosnian War. The events in Srebrenica in 1995 included the killing of more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslims as well as the mass expulsion of another 25,000–30,000 Bosnian Muslims, in and around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, committed by units of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) under the command of General Ratko Mladić. If the latest effort by our good friend Mr Sarkozy is any sort of an indicator at all then what we may have on our hands here is a man who is not immune to violet outrages of temper. As that is the case, then he may be willing to defend the honour of whatever he holds near and dear at any cost at all. If he ever were to be presented with the presidency of the EU, that kind of disdain, coupled with the vast amount of power the position of the EU presidency holds makes for a very volatile and dangerous cocktail indeed, which could of course will result in a similar type of tragedy to the one described above. However, the only difference between then and now is that those targeted are going to be the Born Again Christians. Our friend mentioned above, may soon be named in accordance with what is written in the Holy Scriptures as the Beast of Revelation - or the Antichrist. God's richest blessings
