Whitney Houston for all her problems and weaknesses gives a short testimony during a live performance in Brazil.
I pray this will cause many to turn to Christ in these days.
The last live song she sang was a few nights ago when she sang "Yes Jesus loves me" ...see below the following video.
It now seems she simply fell asleep in the bath and drowned.
Please pray for her family especially her 18 year old daughter who has been taken to hospital with extreme stress. She had to be held back by police as she attempted to get into the hotel suite to her mother.

I have had a little weep and prayer for the daughter. Now I feel sure that this troubled lady was born for such a time as this.
The Emerging church and the name it and claim it crowd, with this ism and that ism telling how Jesus saves us from bad things happening in our lives, and only gives us good things. So if bad things happen, and the bad things hit like a load of bricks, maybe, they suggest, we don't know Jesus at all! Instead of just sorrow they heap onto the troubled soul a burden of self condemnation denying Jesus the burden He wants to carry for us.
While it is true He will meet our NEEDS, we are also told to count the cost, and to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. He doesn't choose bad paths for us, but when we are on them, he never leaves or forsakes us right to the bitter end. No matter how dark and turbulent our days, the arms of Jesus reach through the wind and waves and pull us to himself. He will whisper comfort to us through the written word in the Bible - his book, and stir up memories of his precious word we have heard. Even as we sob and struggle in the problems of life, he holds onto us and will not let us go.
It may be that Whitney is a token to the present troubled Church and to the forlorn world saying, no matter how low you go, Jesus is only ever a whisper away, closer than a sigh. Be comforted that even Christians have sorrow and tribulations, we won’t be perfect till we meet him face to face, but Jesus is faithful to the end and will eventually lead us home to be with him forever. I am certain he decided this lady had done her part in his plans for her life, so He has mercifully and with love, gathered her to Himself to take her home with Him in heavens perfect peace. Don't anyone wag a finger at her and tut tut. There but for the grace of God, go I - or you.
Look now! I am with you ALWAYS, even to the end of the world.
Hi there Friends; even though it regrets me to have to say this but there is news that is now beginning to filter through that contrary to the alleged $80 million fortune that Whitney Houston was supposed to have had she was actually in a great deal of financial trouble. What that means that she may have committed the ultimate act of selfishness after all, which may have meant that she may have finished just another poor and lost deluded soul separated from her Lord forever by then having to spend eternity tormented by demons in Hellfire. Whether or not that is now a reality, only Whitney and God really know the truth. Please note; that even though there were prayers sent forth on her behalf at the Grammy Award Presentations it is much too late to pray for a departed soul once it has left the body and reached its final destination of either Heaven or Hell. There is only one person who can pray for the salvation of an individual, that is the person concerned, and that has to be done before having had the death experience, as after that point is far too late. if there is anyone who is reading this and has not become a Born Again Christian now is the time to make sure that you are before you to are asked to give account of your life before the Lord. What most people fail to understand is it is faith in The Lord Jesus Christ alone that saves us. The Bible is clear we are saved by grace, not works. Whitney Houston finished well because she believed well. To live is Christ and to die is gain. The best of us as believers in Jesus fail daily. Jesus never fails. There is only one person that will wear the name faithful and true, and it's not me and it's not you. Jesus is the only one that will wear the name faithful and true for all eternity. If you believe on Jesus plus nothing else for your salvation, He got you! No matter what. He is faithful that promised. His eternal salvation is promised to all who believe on Him.
